The trick to regaining your childlike wonder (VIDEO)

Filmmaker Zach King started posting videos back in 2008 and today he’s the 6th most

followed person on TikTok with over 68.2 million followers. He’s known for his magical “digital sleight of hand” and typically posts short videos that skew the viewer’s perceptions.

During King’s highly entertaining TED Talk, he shows the audience how to see the world through the eyes of a kid, questioning why so much of our curiosity wanes in adulthood. What’s the enemy to that childlike sense of wonder? King thinks adults make too many assumptions. If we could assume less and be a little more curious, that’s where fresh ideas have the opportunity to come to life.

If you’re looking to break out of the status quo, set aside the data tables for a moment, and boost the childlike sense of wonder on your own team, check out the creative problem solving curriculum of ThinkShop which is designed to empower teams with effective techniques for uncovering the right problem to solve, generating fresher ideas, and shaping those ideas into solutions with a clear plan of action.
